The Irvingdale Neighborhood Community Garden at 14th and Hudson Streets opened in 2009, thanks to the generosity of Bryan Health. The hospital not only provided the land for the garden, but also put in a hydrant for gardeners to use for water. Many volunteers from the neighborhood and local businesses such as Open Harvest contribute to the success of this garden.
Garden plots are available to anyone in the neighborhood (or the city). Applications are available on the Community Crops website at their website for this location or any of the 12 other community gardens in Lincoln.
