Saturday, September 30, 2017, Trabert Hall Parking Lot
11th and South Street, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Click this link [Cleanup] to the webpage with more information on what items can be recycled and reused. You will find quite a list of items that are taking up space in your basement, attic, closets, garage, cabinets, drawers, or just laying around your home. Brush and landfill items can also be brought to the drop off site.
So bring your recyclable, re-useable and other items to the drop-off site at the Trabert Hall parking lot. Neighborhood volunteers will help you unload your items. If you have no way to bring items to the drop-off site, call 402-477-6357 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Note: We cannot accept the following.
• Household garbage
• Household hazardous waste
• Grass clippings or leaves
• Liquids of any kind
Brush coupons you can use later in the spring and summer will also be available for pick up at the site. The coupon covers the landfill gate fee.
Be a Cleanup Volunteer
Volunteers are needed to work at the cleanup site unloading vehicles and driving the alleys for discarded items and/or to pick up items from neighbors who have no way to transport their stuff to the drop-off site. Anywhere from one hour to four hours of your time is greatly appreciated. Bring gloves if you have some.
