The Lincoln Association for Traditional Arts is a non-profit organization formed April 1, 1982. Our mission is to preserve and promote folk and traditional music, dance, and related arts in the Lincoln area.
LAFTA is the only local organization that is specifically dedicated to bringing well known traditional musicians and highly respected contemporary folk performers to the Lincoln area. The association also sponsors events that feature local musicians, songwriters, folk dancers and storytellers.
